Psalm 91:7-10 Though a thousand fall at your side, though ten thousand are dying around you, these evils will not touch you. Just open your eyes, and see how the wicked are punished. If you make the Lord your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter, no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your home. NLT
We may not always see it or feel it; we might forget it’s there at times, or even wonder if He’s left us to fight for ourselves in the middle of the struggles. But His protection is real.
God doesn’t forget us or ignore us. He can’t; it’s not in His character. If we belong to Him, His love is too great to leave us on our own.
Sometimes in our busyness or difficulties of living, we strive to survive without Him, Yet we forget that what we need most, GOD’S protection and the comfort of His presence, are freely available to those who love Him and walk under His covering.
So I ask you: are you selective with God’s promises when it comes to trouble? Or are you absolutely convinced that the authority of the Word of God, the medicine of Scripture, is enough for all your needs? Do you believe that? God’s promises mean everything!
I encourage you today to read PSALMS 91, a great reminder that God is always with us.
Everyone have a blessed day and may you believe God’s promises for you today.
